As part of the continued growth and development of our internal Recruitment Service Center team in the MDPI Poland office, we are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our organization. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, international environment and play a key part in supporting our expanding operations, including recruitment for both local and regional positions.
The Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist supports Hiring Managers and the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing, engaging, and coordinating candidates throughout the recruitment process. Reporting to the Recruitment Operations Lead, this role contributes to key stages of hiring and helps ensure a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and stakeholders.
This is a fully in-office role based in Kraków.
Core Responsibilities:
Supporting Hiring Managers in preparing job descriptions and posting job offers, ensuring accuracy and consistency across locations, while learning to understand salary benchmarks with guidance from senior TA colleagues.
Publishing job advertisements on relevant job boards and managing candidate pipelines within the ATS, performing screenings before passing suitable profiles to Hiring Managers or senior team members.
Conducting interviews for various roles, while assisting senior specialists with later-stage or more complex interviews.
Sourcing candidates across multiple locations using active and passive methods, contributing suggestions for new sourcing channels and strategy improvements.
Collaborating with local, regional, and global HR teams to support a smooth and consistent hiring process across different time zones and departments.
Participating in job fairs, campus events, and employer-branding activities, coordinating logistics and representing the company with support from senior colleagues.
Assisting in aligning recruitment practices with global standards, contributing to templating, documentation, and best-practice sharing.
Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, GDPR, and data-protection requirements, escalating complex questions to senior team members as needed.
Maintaining data accuracy within the ATS and supporting improvements to recruitment workflows.
Contributing to HR and recruitment-related projects, taking ownership of defined tasks and supporting broader initiatives led by senior TA colleagues.
Performing ad hoc tasks aligned with the employee’s capabilities to support the team and business needs beyond the standard scope of the role.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Humanities, Law, Management, or a related field.
2+ years of recruitment experience (in-house or internal preferred), including experience in active sourcing and IT recruitment.
Strong command of English (C1 level or higher).
Proactive approach and goal-oriented mindset.
Willingness to go the extra mile in networking and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to handle confidential information and act with professionalism and discretion.
Basic understanding of HR processes and best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across multiple departments.
Good problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic, international environment.
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
