Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who will be able to support MDPI’s human resources functions. The successful candidate will act as an HR generalist and cover all aspects of the hiring process, employee relations, and labour laws to support our new office in Poland.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the employees’ life cycle
- Oversee all aspects of the hiring process and conduct interviews
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development activities
- Gather and analyze HR metrics
- Coordinate team-building activities and help the management with efforts to improve staff-retention and employee satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations
- Support the implementation of the company’s culture
- Assist in the development and implementation of the HR procedures
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (humanities, management, law), a master’s degree is preferable
- At least 2–3 years of experience in an HR generalist role
- Very good knowledge of Polish labour/employment laws
- Capability to work in a dynamic and international environment
- Strong English skills in written and spoken language—the ability to conduct interviews in English
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Dynamic and reliable team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
